A 5-day Chinese tour of North Korea entering via train from Dandong, visiting many monuments and the Northern side of the Demilitarised Zone.

Before visiting the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), we were taken to a Museum where we could see the layout of the DMZ via this model.

North Korean Border Guards in the foreground and South Korean Guards at the back. The Concrete line beside the North Korean Guards is the border between North and South. The blue buildings act as meetings rooms between the two countries.

The 2008 Arirung Games at the Rungrado May Day Stadium (릉라도 5월1일경기장). On the far side of the stadium, thousands of North Korean people are filling the stands who will hold cards creating huge mosaics perfectly choreographed to change at the same time throughout the event.

The 2008 Arirung Games at the Rungrado May Day Stadium (릉라도 5월1일경기장). The landscape mosaic is created by thousands of North Korean people holding cards, flipping them in unison. In the foreground are thousands of people performing choreographed dances.
